Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everybody! Well, the Easter Bunny came in full force last night. He brought Morgan a basket full of toys, clothes, and books!

On Easter Eve, we celebrated with Grammy, Grandpop, and Uncle Bryan. We went to church and then Bahama Breeze afterwards. Grammy and Grandpop were able to give Morgan her Easter surprises early. I just know the blocks are going to be a hit!

Then on Easter Sunday, RJ, Morgan, and I woke up and found the basket that the Easter Bunny had left. She was so excited - I believe the Slinky was Morgan's favorite surprise. This year we decided to stop splitting the holiday and trade years between our two families. It was a little sad not seeing my family, but was great not feeling rushed and spending a lot of time in the car like we usually do.

So, we celebrated with RJ's family this year at Aunt Bon Bon's house. Nana was able to give Morgan her Easter surprises - she absolutely loved the "big girl chair" for the beach! Morgan participated in her first Easter Egg Hunt (kind-of). In classic Morgan behavior, she decided to stop at every egg, open it, and devour whatever was inside. Thank goodness they were filled with kid stuff like puffs and cheerios! What a great holiday it was!
